Privacy Policy

Data we collect

• Account data — name, email address, phone number and password hash, used to create and secure your account.
• Precise location — used only while the app is in use, to show nearby charging stations, navigate to them and match regional pricing. Location is not sold or shared with advertisers.
• Charging and payment data — sessions, energy delivered, invoices, wallet balance and transactions.
• Vehicle and RFID data — vehicles you add and any charging cards linked to your account.
• Diagnostics — crash and performance data used to keep the app stable.

How we use data

To operate charging sessions, process payments, provide customer support, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use your data for third-party advertising and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

Sharing

Data is shared only with the charge point operator serving your session, our payment and messaging processors, and our cloud hosting and database providers acting under contract. We disclose data to authorities only when legally required.

Your choices

• Analytics, personalised offers and location history can each be turned off in Settings → Privacy.
• Location, notification and camera permissions can be revoked at any time in your device settings.
• You can export a copy of your data from Settings → Data → Export my data.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account in the app: Settings → Data → Delete account. Deletion removes your profile, vehicles, RFID links, preferences and session history. Invoices and transaction records required by tax and accounting law are retained in anonymised form for the statutory retention period. You can also request deletion by emailing info@chargelink-mea.com.

Retention and security

Data is encrypted in transit with TLS and stored on access-controlled infrastructure with row-level security. We keep personal data only as long as your account is active or as required by law.

Children

ChargeLink is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
